Privacy Policy for Pawziq

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how OG VIBE APPS ("we", "us", "our") handles information when you use Pawziq — AI Pet Companion ("Pawziq", "the app"). Pawziq includes pet-related AI interactions, pet profiles, pet-care tools, reminders, and photo and memory features. This policy explains what information Pawziq may process, how it is used, where it is stored, and the choices available to you.

2. Information and data Pawziq may process

Pet profile information

You may provide information such as:

Pet profile information is primarily stored locally on your device. Certain relevant profile fields may be transmitted when you voluntarily use AI-powered features such as Talk To My Pet, Ask About My Pet, or Can I Eat This?, solely to provide the response you requested. The pet profile photo itself is stored locally and is not transmitted for those AI text features.

Microphone / audio

Pawziq may request microphone access for features including Translate My Pet and voice input in Talk To My Pet.

Translate My Pet is an entertainment and interpretive pet interaction feature — it does not literally translate animal language. In the current release, Translate My Pet audio is processed on-device and is not transmitted to OG VIBE APPS servers or third-party AI providers. Temporary recording data used for translation is deleted after processing, according to the app's implementation.

Talk To My Pet's voice input uses on-device speech-to-text. Raw voice audio is not sent to the Pawziq backend for AI conversation processing.

AI conversations and questions

When you voluntarily use AI-powered features, Pawziq may process:

This information may be securely transmitted to Pawziq's backend and processed using Anthropic's AI services to generate the requested response. Talk conversation history may also be stored locally on your device to maintain conversation continuity. The Pawziq backend does not maintain a Pawziq user account or a persistent server-side user profile.

Voice synthesis

Pawziq uses ElevenLabs for text-to-speech functionality. When voice generation is requested, only the information required to generate the voice response — such as the text to be spoken and relevant voice/delivery configuration — is sent through Pawziq's backend to ElevenLabs. Raw microphone recordings are not sent to ElevenLabs for this purpose.

Scan My Pet / camera and media

Pawziq may request camera or photo/media access when you choose features involving pet images or video. For Scan My Pet, a selected or captured photo, or sampled video frames, along with the pet's name, may be transmitted to Google's Gemini service through Firebase AI Logic to provide the requested analysis. This media leaves your device when you intentionally use Scan My Pet.

Locally saved Scan media and analysis data can be deleted through Pawziq's privacy and data controls.

Paw Streak

Paw Streak photos and memory notes are stored locally on your device. They are not transmitted to Pawziq's backend for the Paw Streak feature. Paw Streak data and associated locally stored photo files can be removed using Pawziq's deletion controls.

Planner / reminders

Paw Planner reminder information is stored locally on your device. Notifications, exact alarms, and alarm-style reminder functionality may be used to deliver reminders you have requested. Planner reminders can be deleted by you. Bulk pet-data deletion also removes relevant reminders and cancels their scheduled alarms.

Feedback, training, games and Journal

Relevant histories such as feedback categories, training activity, and game activity are stored locally for app functionality. Journal primarily presents information already stored elsewhere by Pawziq, rather than creating a separate cloud user profile.

3. Advertising

Pawziq includes the Google Mobile Ads SDK (AdMob). The SDK may process advertising-related information, such as advertising ID and device/ad-serving signals, according to Google's applicable policies and your device settings. Pawziq itself does not sell user data. Ad consent and targeting configuration for Pawziq is being reviewed separately.

4. Firebase App Check / Security

Pawziq uses Firebase App Check with Play Integrity in production to help verify genuine app installations and protect backend services from abuse. This may involve device and app integrity signals. Firebase App Check does not track your physical location.

5. Third-party service providers

Pawziq relies on the following service providers to deliver its features:

These providers may process limited information necessary to provide their respective services. Each provider's own privacy practices are governed by their independent privacy policies, which are not controlled by OG VIBE APPS.

6. Data storage

Much of Pawziq's user-generated information is stored locally on your device, including:

Some information is transmitted only when you invoke online AI, voice, or Scan functionality, as described above. Android's operating-system backup and device-transfer functionality may back up eligible local app data to your own Google account, depending on your Android and Google backup settings.

7. Data retention and deletion

Pawziq provides privacy and data deletion controls.

"Delete all pet data" removes locally stored pet and user-generated data covered by the app's repositories, including:

Associated Planner alarms are cancelled when those reminders are removed.

Deleting an individual pet removes that pet's profile and locally stored data associated with that pet, without intentionally deleting another pet's data. You can also clear Talk history separately.

Uninstalling Pawziq removes app-local data, subject to Android's normal backup/restore behaviour. Because Pawziq has no account system or server-side user profile, OG VIBE APPS cannot remotely delete data stored locally on your device.

8. User accounts

Pawziq does not currently require or provide user account creation, login, or sign-up. Therefore, Pawziq does not maintain a server-side Pawziq account associated with you.

9. Data security

Network communication with the Pawziq backend and relevant cloud services uses HTTPS/TLS. Sensitive provider credentials, such as Anthropic and ElevenLabs API keys, are kept server-side rather than embedded as user-facing credentials in the Android app. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Data we do not request for Pawziq features

Pawziq does not request access to:

Advertising-related identifiers and signals may still be processed by Google Mobile Ads, as disclosed in the Advertising section above.

11. Children's privacy

Pawziq is a general pet companion application. The app's Google Play target-audience classification and advertising configuration are governed by the applicable Google Play requirements. Pawziq is not specifically designed for children unless explicitly configured as such, and we make no claim of COPPA compliance without an applicable legal basis. 12. Pet care information disclaimer

Pawziq's Pet Care, Can I Eat This?, Ask About My Pet, Scan, and related informational features provide general informational and educational guidance. They are not a substitute for professional veterinary diagnosis, treatment, or emergency care. Please contact a qualified veterinarian or emergency veterinary service when appropriate.

13. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as Pawziq's features, data practices, service providers, or legal requirements change. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
